66th International Nasreddin Hodja Festival

The 66th International Nasreddin Hodja Festival started on July 5, 2025, in Akşehir, a district of Konya. This annual festival, now in its 66th year, will continue until July 15, offering 10 days filled with cultural, artistic, and humorous events.


During the festival, visitors can enjoy concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, storytelling competitions, humor talks, and various workshops. One of the highlights was the concert by the Dedublüman group on the evening of July 7 at the Open-Air Theater, which brought great energy and excitement to the audience.


At the opening ceremony, awards were presented to winners of photography and caricature contests. Additionally, the actor Altan Erkekli, who portrayed Nasreddin Hodja with great success, received the prestigious "Golden Turban" award.
