Konya Strengthens Dialogue with Vietnam

Vietnam’s Ambassador to Ankara, Thi Thu Ha Dang, visited Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, industry, and tourism.

Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Ambassador to Konya and emphasized that they continue to maintain strong relations with Asian countries.

Providing information about Konya’s history, as well as its current industry, agriculture, and economy, Mayor Altay said, “In terms of municipal governance, Konya has long been one of the best models in Türkiye. I hope your visit will help further strengthen the relations between our countries.”

Vietnam’s Ambassador to Ankara, Thi Thu Ha Dang, expressed her pleasure in visiting Konya and thanked Mayor Altay for his warm hospitality.

Ambassador Thi Thu Ha Dang said, “You have a beautiful country with tolerant people and a rich culture. The relations between our countries are strong and continue to grow. I hope the ties between our two nations will reach an even better level in the future.”
