Konya Invites Guests to Sema Ceremony at Mevlana Center!

Konya Metropolitan Municipality organizes Sema performances at the Mevlana Cultural Center four days a week, from Monday to Thursday.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay invited all guests and residents of Konya to the whirling dervish ceremony organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Turkish Sufi Music and Whirling Dervishes Ensemble.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the whirling dervish ceremonies organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism continue every Saturday in Konya, a city of love, tolerance, and brotherhood. He added that the municipality has initiated whirling dervish ceremonies on weekdays for four days to allow all visitors to participate.

Mayor Altay stated, “Our Konya Metropolitan Municipality Turkish Sufi Music and Whirling Dervishes Ensemble touches the soul with its whirling dervish ceremony every week from Monday to Thursday at 7:00 PM. I invite all our guests visiting our city and all our fellow citizens to experience the spiritual inspiration of the whirling dervish ceremony held at the Mevlana Cultural Center Sema Hall.”

Citizens expressed that they were deeply moved by the spiritual atmosphere and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay and everyone involved in the program.
