The Konya Metropolitan Municipality Turkish Sufi Music and Sema Ensemble held a Sema ceremony featuring a Sufi music performance in Zagreb.
Konya’s centuries-old Sufi tradition was presented to art enthusiasts at the “Eid Concert,” held at the historic Lisinski Concert Hall in cooperation with the Embassy of Türkiye in Zagreb, the Yunus Emre Institute, and the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Zagreb.
Bosniak, Turkish, and Albanian Muslim communities living in Croatia came together to share the spiritual atmosphere of Eid during the traditional Sema ceremony performed by the ensemble.
The program, which reflected the spirit of Eid, helped foster cultural understanding between different communities and contributed to the promotion of shared historical and spiritual heritage.
The Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to promote the centuries-old Sufi and Sema traditions of Konya through international events, contributing to cultural diplomacy efforts.
