Mevlana Museum Draws Record Crowds

Konya Mevlana Museum, one of the most visited places in Turkey, has been attracting a large number of visitors.

Citizens flocked to the Mevlana Museum today, which ranked first among museums and historical sites in the first three months of 2024. As the tomb of Mevlana was filled to capacity, visitors overflowed into the courtyard.

Last year, museums and historical sites reached approximately 30.5 million visitors, and in the first three months of this year, they welcomed 3,886,998 visitors.

The Konya Mevlana Museum became the most visited museum of the three-month period, attracting 383,392 visitors.
