Havva Sena Tokmak Continues Winning Streak with European Gold Medal

Havva Sena Tokmak, competing for Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, won the gold medal at the Cadet European Cup in Portugal.

The tournament, held in the Algarve region of Faro, brought together 597 judokas from 33 countries.

Competing in the 40 kg category, Tokmak, representing the Turkish national team, achieved another major success by claiming the European Cup title.

Entering the competition as one of the seeded athletes, she advanced to the semifinals after defeating her Spanish opponent by ippon in her opening match. She then secured her place in the final with a victory over her French opponent in the semifinal.

In the final, Tokmak faced a strong contender from Brazil and delivered a dominant performance to win the match and claim the gold medal.

Fourth European Cup Medal of the Year

With this result, Tokmak earned her fourth medal at European Cup events this year, continuing her consistent success on the international stage.

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club athlete has now added a gold medal to the three bronze medals she previously won over the past three months while competing for the Turkish national team. Her earlier podium finishes came at Cadet European Judo Cups in Teplice, Antalya, and Berlin.
