Two New Balkan Titles for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor added another achievement to its growing list of international successes by winning two gold medals at the Balkan Junior Judo Championships, held in Bucharest, Romania, from June 26 to 28.

Competing in the women's 48 kg category, Fatma Zehra Meki claimed the Balkan title after defeating her opponents, while Kevser Dilbirliği captured the championship in the women's 78 kg division, securing two gold medals for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor.

Şeyda Aydoğan, head coach of Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor's judo team, also served as a coach for the Turkish National Judo Team during the championships. Having played a key role in the athletes' success, Aydoğan represented Türkiye at the international event, once again demonstrating the valuable contribution of coaches developed by Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor to Turkish judo.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor has enjoyed a remarkable run of success in recent months, earning top results at both national and international competitions. With their consistent performances, the club's judokas continue to represent both Türkiye and Konya with distinction on the international stage.
