Tınaztepe Cave, located in Konya’s Seydişehir district, has once again attracted thousands of visitors during the holiday period with its 230 million year history, underground waterfalls, naturally cool environment, and giant stalactites.


Nestled in the heart of the Taurus Mountains, Tınaztepe Cave, with a history dating back approximately 230 million years, welcomes thousands of visitors each year with its captivating atmosphere.


Located in Konya’s Seydişehir district, at the 22nd kilometer of the Konya–Antalya highway, the cave is among the region’s most popular tourist attractions thanks to its natural beauty and unique geological formations.


With a total length of 22 kilometers, the Tınaztepe Cave system is considered one of the largest caves in both Türkiye and the world. A 1,580-meter section of the cave is open to visitors, featuring specially illuminated walkways that allow guests to explore its remarkable underground landscape.


Tınaztepe Cave stands out not only for its visual beauty but also for its unique natural climate. Throughout the year, the cave maintains a humidity level of around 75 percent, while temperatures remain at approximately 9 degrees Celsius.


Known for its distinctive air quality, the cave is said to be favored by some people with asthma and various respiratory conditions. Owing to its clean air and natural environment, Tınaztepe Cave is also considered to have significant potential for health tourism.
