Konya’s Selçuklu Garden Draws Visitors

Located in the Selçuklu district of Konya, the Selçuklu Flower Garden is nestled within the Butterfly Valley Park and has become one of the city’s most vibrant attractions.

Spanning an area of approximately 11,000 square meters, the garden welcomes visitors with its meticulously designed landscapes filled with seasonal flowers. Tulips, geraniums, petunias, daisies, marigolds, and baby’s breath create a stunning visual display that particularly appeals to photography enthusiasts. The garden hosts over 27 flower species, more than 60 varieties, and a total of over 250,000 blooms.

The Selçuklu Flower Garden stands out not only for its rich floral diversity but also for its amenities. Walking paths, observation decks, children’s play areas, and photo corners make it an enjoyable space for all ages. Decorative birds, including peacocks, pheasants, and pigeons, add a charming touch to the colorful setting. Visitors can stroll through the garden, enjoy the vibrant flowers, and experience moments of tranquility.

Entry to the garden is free, and it is open every day except Mondays, typically from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The garden is at its most picturesque during the spring and summer months, attracting both local and international visitors, as well as professional photographers. Its location near other attractions, such as the Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden and Adventure Tower, makes it a must-visit spot in the city.

For anyone seeking a peaceful day surrounded by nature, a pleasant walk, or an opportunity to capture vivid photographs, the Selçuklu Flower Garden is one of Konya’s must-see destinations.
