The Lotus Garden, located in Beyşehir, Konya, within
Turkey’s second-largest national park, the Beyşehir Lake National Park, has

Situated along the shores of Beyşehir Lake in the Çiftlik
neighborhood, this garden boasts the largest congregation of water lilies
(Lotus) in Turkey, spanning an impressive area of 7 kilometers in length and
400 meters in width. To witness the mesmerizing water lilies up close, boat
tours are organized for those eager to experience this natural wonder. Ever
since the area was introduced to tourism a few years ago, the boat tours have
attracted significant interest from visitors arriving in the district. Departing
from the Çiftlik neighborhood port, the boats offer a unique opportunity to get
a close view of the stunning water lilies. Visitors enthusiastically capture
photographs of the Lotus flowers, eagerly sharing their visuals on social media

Erdoğan, who has been fishing in Beyşehir Lake for years and
has cherished memories of the Lotus Garden from his childhood, explained that
the local community and fishermen referred to the water lilies as “zambak”
(lily). He expressed, “This place existed in our childhood as well. However,
its recognition and transformation into a tourist attraction are relatively
recent. The Beyşehir Lake spans an area of 7 kilometers in length and 400
meters in width. It hosts Turkey’s largest congregation of water lilies,
showcasing beautiful blooms in white and yellow hues. Since its opening to
tourism and the initiation of boat tours, we have been delighted to witness an
overwhelming influx of visitors, surpassing our expectations.
