Karatay Lavender Days offered a visual feast with its purple fields, welcoming thousands of visitors from all across Turkey.
During the three-day event, 455,870 people were hosted, setting a new attendance record for the organization.
Throughout the festival, visitors strolled through Turkey’s largest lavender field in Karaaslan Neighborhood, explored various booths, and children enjoyed the activities to the fullest. Guests from Konya and all over the country showed great interest in this special event organized by Karatay.
Karatay Lavender Days turned into an international gathering, welcoming not only visitors from across Turkey but also guests from friendly and sister countries. As part of the event, Mukhamejan Jumadıllaev, Advisor to the Mayor of Sauran District in the Turkistan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also attended the festival.
Ahmet Hayri Orçan, Mayor of Tatlısu in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, also attended the festival and delivered messages of brotherhood.
Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca expressed his great satisfaction with the strong interest shown in Karatay Lavender Days.
