The islands of Beyşehir Lake, located in Konya, consist of 33 islands of varying sizes. These islands were formed by the submerged extensions of nearby hills, with the larger islands typically situated on the western side of the lake.

Mada Island

Covering an area of 8,220 hectares, Mada Island is the largest island on Beyşehir Lake. It is home to a village, and the building that has been renovated by the General Directorate now serves as the Beyşehir Municipality Exhibition and Meeting Hall.

Hacı Akif Island

Located to the south of the other islands in Beyşehir Lake, Hacı Akif Island is known for its

100-meter-long cave, famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The cave’s walls are adorned with historical decorations. The island is rich in various moss and insect species and also hosts a breeding area for deer, Pekin ducks, and quails.

Igneli Island

Known as the most popular island on the lake for tourism, İgneli Island features beaches and coves covered in red sands, with the island's highest peak reaching 1,282 meters.

Çeçen Island

Also referred to as Terkenli, Aşağıağıl, and Gavur Island, Çeçen Island is home to historical structures, including a bathhouse, granaries, farmhouses, and a cave. The tiles from the bathhouse are now displayed in a museum in Konya.

Aygır Island

Sharing similarities with İgneli Island in terms of its scenic beauty, climate, and sandy shores, Aygır Island is surrounded by the Anamas Mountains on the western side. The island also contains ruins of a church.
