natural beauty in Hadim district of Konya, has become a frequented point for
photography enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Yerköprü Waterfall, which is 100 kilometers from Konya and
30 kilometers from the district center, takes its name from the collapse of
travertine on the alluvium and the melting of the alluvium below and its
resembling the shape of a bridge. The waterfall, which flows from a height of
about 25 meters on the Göksu River in the Aladağ region, hosts nature lovers as
well as photography enthusiasts in summer and winter.
The facilities, hiking trail and picnic areas built by Konya
Metropolitan Municipality around the waterfall also allow citizens to have a
good time as a family in the region. With the newly built suspension bridge and
walking trail, visitors approaching the zero point of the waterfall are almost
in a race to take photos.
