To Live in Beysehir: Simple and Serene Life in Nature's Embrace

The Mada Island in Beysehir Lake in Konya is Turkey's largest lake island, covering an area of 8,220 hectares.

Konya is home to Beysehir Lake, which is Turkey's largest freshwater lake.

There are 33 islands, large and small, in Beysehir Lake, which is within the borders of Konya.

Some islands, which are currently used for agriculture and livestock activities, were once inhabited. On the largest island in the lake, Mada Island, there are still people living today.

The residents of the island, which has a mountainous appearance covered with forests, are engaged in agriculture, livestock, and fishing.
