The “3rd Tourism Mobility Program,” organized in collaboration with the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Youth Council and the Social Innovation Agency, brought together participants eager to explore the city's cultural heritage and tourism potential.
As part of the program, the city's cultural fabric and tourism destinations were introduced, while innovative approaches to the tourism sector were discussed. Supported by field visits and training sessions, the program provided participants with the opportunity to explore Konya’s historical and touristic assets firsthand.
Participants also had the chance to visit key locations such as Karatay Thermal Hotel, Obruk Hotel, Hich Hotel, and Novotel, allowing them to observe the latest developments in the sector firsthand.
During the visits to Konya’s cultural and technological landmarks, sites such as the Capsule Technology Platform, Darülmülk Exhibition Palace, Taş Building, Depo No:4, Alaaddin Mosque, İplikçi Mosque, and the Mevlana Museum were evaluated from a tourism perspective. The program also included an exploration of the city’s historical and modern structures through visits to the Selcuklu Congress Center and Sille. In addition to field visits, the program was enriched with training sessions and workshops led by experts in the field.
