Acıgöl, located in the Karapınar district of Konya, has become a popular destination for both local and foreign tourists.
Formed by a volcanic eruption southeast of Karacadağ, the lake has bitter and salty waters due to its magnesium sulfate content, and its shores are currently experiencing a high influx of visitors.
Visitors spend time in the floating pool set up by the Karapınar Municipality in the lake, as well as on the beach and in the seating areas created along the shore.
