Cherry Harvest Season Begins in Konya

The cherry harvest has started in the districts of Hadim, Taşkent, and Beyşehir in Konya. Thanks to favorable weather conditions this year, local farmers are expecting a productive season. 

Konya cherries are in high demand in both domestic and international markets. Especially popular for fresh consumption, they make a significant contribution to the regional economy. Farmers anticipate that the harvest season will continue throughout July.

Agricultural experts note that the cherries are of high quality due to the region's favorable climate and soil conditions. The start of the harvest has also led to increased agricultural activity across the region.
