Konya's animal husbandry sector to receive 4.5 million TL in support

Farmers engaged in animal husbandry in Konya will be supported with 4 million 560 thousand Turkish Liras.

In the scope of the 'Increasing Small Livestock Welfare in Beyşehir with KOP' project, a contract has been signed between institutions in the Beyşehir district of Konya.

Hüseyin Ozver, the Director of Agriculture and Forestry in Beyşehir district of Konya, announced in a written statement that a contract was signed between institutions following the approval of the project submitted by the Beyşehir District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate to the KOP Regional Administration Presidency with the aim of supporting the infrastructure of small livestock breeders in the district.

Ozver stated in his announcement that he signed the protocol with Murat Karakoyunlu, the President of KOP Regional Administration, during the ceremony held at the KOP Regional Administration Presidency. He also stated that as part of the project, 25 small portable animal shelters with a floor area of 240 square meters will be granted to beneficiary farmers, and that the project budget is 4 million 560 thousand Turkish Liras.
