Konya-based Lavonya brand has gained significant attention across the country in recent times. Known for its quality products and affordable prices, Lavonya has been rapidly expanding. In addition to its special design products and innovative solutions, the brand has gained attention and has an important place in the sector. The promising Lavonya brand is expected to continue its growth trend in the coming years.
To expand the production of lavender, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality has been providing support to farmers. These support measures include providing 1.8 million lavender seedlings in 1.2 million m² to farmers who have participated in lavender cultivation training and who want to cultivate lavender in the Güneysınır and Çumra districts, as well as providing lavender harvesting machines for agricultural mechanization and planting 20,000 lavender seedlings in the medicinal aromatic plants variety garden. The Konya Metropolitan Municipality is taking the needs of producers into account when providing these support measures.
Lavender oil is also widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, and cleaning. This makes lavender economically valuable. To provide farmers with an additional income from the extracted oils, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality has started producing lavender products such as soaps, colonias, and creams under the registered "LAVONYA" brand. These products are being offered for sale to local producers.
