Two farmers in Yalıhüyük were given a portable irrigation system powered by solar energy within the scope of Göksu Taşeli Basin Development Project.

With the participation of Yalıhüyük District Governor İbrahim Yazıcı and District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate officials, 2 farmers who applied for 70-80 percent grant were delivered a portable irrigation system powered by solar energy within the scope of Göksu Taşeli Basin Development Project.

District Agriculture and Forestry Director Mevlüt Semerci said, "With this project, which is implemented within the scope of Göksu Taşeli Basin Development Project in coordination with Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in our district, it is aimed to reduce the irrigation inputs of our farmers engaged in agricultural production, to bring our producers together with technological innovations and to protect the natural ecosystem."
