The Konya Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre staged the premiere of the play “V. Frank.”
The play, staged at the Selçuklu Congress Center, attracted great interest from theatre enthusiasts in Konya.
Written by Friedrich Dürrenmatt and directed by Fatih Dönmez, the two-act play brings to the stage the tragicomic story of a bank struggling to sustain its legacy.
The play, which portrays the conflicts between power, money, and morality with a satirical tone, also received high praise from Konya’s theatre audience for its stage design and performances.
Audience members said they enjoyed the performance and highlighted that Konya stands out as a city rich in culture and art, expressing their gratitude to everyone involved.
Due to strong interest from art enthusiasts, “V. Frank” will be performed again at the Selçuklu Congress Center on Friday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 12 at 4:00 p.m.
