Konya Chamber of Commerce Technology and Education Campus Aims to Enhance Konya's Economy

Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) President Selçuk Oztürk stated that the KTO Technology and Education Campus is progressing towards becoming an international institution aiming to enhance Konya's economy, production, and trade capacity to gain a competitive advantage in the world.

 

 

Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) President Selçuk Oztürk stated that the KTO Technology and Education Campus is progressing towards becoming an international institution aiming to enhance Konya's economy, production, and trade capacity, enabling it to outperform in competition with the world.

 

 

The July monthly council meeting was held at the KTO Technology and Campus (KTOTEK). Chaired by Council President Ahmet Arıcı, the meeting began with presentations from various units affiliated with KTOTEK. KTOTEK General Manager Seyfi Suna stated, "So far, 7,498 trainees have received education in 481 vocational courses at the Vocational Training Center. The Foreign Trade Center has provided export coaching to 54 companies, export consultancy to 38 companies, and target customer consultancy to 380 companies. In the Model Factory, 195 companies have received awareness training, and the Learn-Return program has been implemented with 40 companies, along with 13 companies for specific projects."

 

 

Following the presentations from the Vocational Training Center, Foreign Trade Center, Model Factory, and Smart Technologies Center, an experience was shared from a company that participated in the Learn-Return program conducted by the Model Factory. Finally, Dr. Nacati Vardar, an Associate Professor at KTO Karatay University, delivered a presentation on "How Artificial Intelligence Took Over Commerce?". After the presentations, the council meeting proceeded to discuss and resolve the items on the agenda.

 

 

 

KTO President Öztürk shared the activities of the Konya Chamber of Commerce and its subsidiaries over the past month. He also reminded that university preferences, which started on July 27, will continue until August 8. He mentioned that the Information and Preference Center, located on the KTO Karatay University campus, is still providing services to university candidates. Öztürk highlighted that KTO Karatay University is a leading university in Turkey regarding its collaboration with the business world and the private sector. He expressed that the Konya Chamber of Commerce continues to provide strong support to KTO Karatay University.
