Selcuk Medicine Increases Operating Room Capacity

The surgical capacity of Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital has been increased by approximately 30% with the addition of 5 new operating rooms. With the new operating rooms, access to healthcare services has been further expedited.


Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, with the vision of being the healthcare assurance of the region, continuously renews itself by closely following all developments and innovations in the field of medicine.


With the completion of 5 new operating rooms and the opening of the Pre-Operative Preparation Clinic, patients' needs in this area can now be addressed more quickly.


The Chief Physician of Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Prof. Dr. İlhan Ece, stated that the hospital's medical services have been further strengthened thanks to ongoing modernization efforts and new units. Prof. Dr. Ece said, "We have added 5 new operating rooms to our existing 20. With these new rooms, our daily surgical capacity has increased from 100 to 130. As a result, our patients will receive higher quality services in a shorter amount of time."


İlhan Ece expressed his gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz for his contributions to the opening of the new operating rooms.
