The Time It Takes Ambulances to Reach Cases in Konya Has Decreases

An evaluation meeting was held with Konya Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç and 112 Emergency Health Services Station Officers.

Koç, who made the opening speech of the meeting attended by 86 station supervisors, said, "It is extremely important for patient and employee satisfaction to solve the problems experienced in the field in a short time by putting them on the table" and emphasized the importance of the meeting held in order to maximize the quality of service.

Stating that their aim is to further improve the quality of health services and to serve under the best conditions, Mehmet Koç said, "We have shortened our time to reach cases by increasing the number of stations in Konya from 68 to 86. At the same time, we increased the number of ambulances and reduced our average ambulance age. We have renovated almost all of our stations by putting forward an exemplary model for Turkey."

Emphasizing that they struggle on the thin line between life and death, Dr. Ahmet Ergin, Head of Emergency Health Services, said, "We aim to prepare an efficient working environment by providing employee satisfaction at a high level and as a result, to maximize patient satisfaction. In order to achieve these goals, our greatest treasure is our employees. For this reason, we attach great importance to such trainings."

After the speeches, the participants took the floor and shared their problems and solution suggestions with the health managers. The meeting, which continued interactively with the presentations made, ended with the plans made.
