Altay stated that “We put Çatalhöyük Visitor Centre into service at the end of last year, with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in order to promote Çatalhöyük in the best possible way and to pass it on to the next generations.”

Welcoming thousands of local and foreign guests from Konya and outside Konya every week, our centre offers an unforgettable experience by taking its visitors back 10 thousand years ago. Guests who learn about and experience the ancient city at the Çatalhöyük Visitor Centre can then visit the excavation site. Now, by launching a new application, we organize tours from Mevlana Square to Çatalhöyük by bus. Our aim is to bring the historical and cultural riches of our city to a wider audience by attracting the attention of both local and foreign tourists.
