Hasan Pasha Imaret Mosque

Located in the Kileci Neighborhood of Konya, where Imaret Street meets Hıdırlık Street, lies the Hasan Pasha Imaret Mosque, a testament to the city's rich architectural heritage. 

Completed in 1510-11 by a vizier named Hasan, the mosque boasts a classic design with a square-planned sanctuary crowned by a single, majestic dome.

Visitors approaching the Hasan Pasha Imaret Mosque are greeted by an impressive three-chambered narthex, offering a place for prayer preparation and transition. As they step inside, their gaze is drawn upwards to the elegant dome, bathing the interior in a soft, natural light. 

While time may have taken its toll on some of the original decorative elements, the Hasan Pasha Imaret Mosque still retains a sense of grandeur. The wooden door wings and window wings guarding the entrance showcase intricate craftsmanship, hinting at the beauty that once adorned the mosque.
