National Athlete Tahir Efe Becomes Balkan Champion

Tahir Efe Şahin, an athlete of the Karatay Belediyespor Club Table Tennis Team, made Türkiye and Karatay proud with his outstanding achievements at the Para Table Tennis Balkan Championships held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Competing for the Turkish national team in the Ay-Yıldızlı jersey at the tournament held between June 8 and 11, national athlete Tahir Efe Şahin represented Türkiye in Class 7.

The successful athlete outperformed his opponents in both the individual and doubles events, securing Balkan Championship titles in two separate categories.

By achieving remarkable success on the international stage, Tahir Efe Şahin once again demonstrated the strength of Turkish sports through his accomplishments and further solidified his place among the distinguished athletes developed by Karatay Belediyespor Club.
