Karatay’s Historical Places Revive with Aesthetic Touches

Karatay Municipality, which intends to resurrect the "Ancient Karatay" with its efforts to protect the historical heritage, does not give a break to its restoration projects.

Karatay Municipality, which made investments in many areas from infrastructure to superstructure, from social domains to exemplary projects, also attaches great importance to the historical texture of the district. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, examined two historical buildings that are under restoration work in the municipality's Kerimdede Çeşme and Sarıyakup Neighborhoods.

Karatay Municipality, which desires to bring the historical richness of Karatay to the future, continues its restoration and rehabilitation works in Kerimdede Çeşme, Sarıyakup, and Aziziye Neighborhoods in this context. In addition to this, the project planning prepared in Akçeşme, Aziziye, and Nakipoğlu Neighborhoods has been completed.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also inspected the restoration works of two historical buildings in Kerimdede Çeşme Neighborhood and Sarıyakup Neighbourhood, dated to the beginning of the 20th century on site.

Mayor Hasan Kılca, who obtained information about the restoration works of civil architectural examples of buildings, both of which are two-story, in plan type with an inner sofa and mainly made of mudbrick and wooden materials, stated that they considered the works aimed at preserving and conserving the historical and cultural heritage important.
