Restoration Continues at Raziye Sultan Caravanserai

Restoration work continues at the Raziye Sultan Caravanserai in Kadınhanı, carried out by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay emphasized that, under the "Konya Model Municipality" approach, significant restoration, renovation, and preservation projects are being implemented across 31 districts to protect and carry forward the historical heritage.

Mayor Altay stated, “Konya is one of the most ancient cities of Anatolia and has been a center of settlement for many civilizations throughout history. The structures we inherit from these lands are not just relics of the past but also entrusted to the future. With the restoration work initiated at the Raziye Sultan Caravanserai, our aim is to preserve this valuable structure for future generations. Significant progress has been made in the project, and our work continues meticulously to maintain its original form. Hopefully, we will complete it soon and make it available for our citizens.”

Kadınhanı Mayor İrfan Karaca also stated that Kadınhanı is one of Konya's important districts and expressed his gratitude to Mayor Altay for his support.
