Anatolia’s Largest Children’s Book Event Opens Its Doors

The second edition of the Konya Children’s Book Days, organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and recognized as the largest children’s book event in Anatolia, is once again meeting young readers with great excitement this year.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the 2nd Children’s Book Days, held within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, are being organized this year at the Selçuklu Congress Center under the slogan “You are in darkness when you do not read.”

Children living in Konya’s city center and districts have also begun to experience the excitement of the Konya Children’s Book Days. In order to ensure that students from districts outside the center can benefit from this vibrant atmosphere, Konya Metropolitan Municipality is providing transportation by bus for students from numerous schools across 28 districts. In this way, the accessibility of the event is increased and it is aimed to reach a wider student audience.
