Another taste different
from Konya cuisine; rice made with milk instead of water. Rice with milk is a
different flavor and experience. Milk rice (pilaf with milk), which is an exquisite flavor with a
combination of milk, onion, cream, is a very famous dish. The preparation of
milk rice, which is unique to Konya, is quite practical.
Ingredients
5 tablespoons of butter
1 medium-sized onion
2 cups of bulgur
1 cup of flour
1 cup of milk
1/5 cup of cream
2 dessertspoons of salt
5 medium-sized green
onions
4 branches of fresh mint
Recipe
Fry the onion with oil
until it gets pink. Add bulgur and fry it lightly. Add the water and milk, and boil. Add the
cream and salt, then cook. Add green onions and mint, stir and let rest.
