Konya's Remarkable Grape Harvest and Production

The village with 120 households located in the district of Hadim in Konya is drawing attention with its agricultural products cultivated in hilly terrain. Hadim functions like a factory with its production of grape molasses, raisins, and pistachios, among others.


The village of Yağcı, situated in the district of Hadim, on the foothills of the Taurus Mountains in Konya, manages to generate significant income from agriculture by producing high-quality goods despite its challenging geographical location.


With around 120 households, this village, located in a mountainous area, benefits primarily from vineyards as its main source of income. Yağcı Village, situated in an area under the influence of the Mediterranean climate, relies on grapevine cultivation for its livelihood.


Everyone in the village takes excellent care of the vineyards, and all residents are involved in production.


The villagers harvest grape leaves and various grape varieties according to the season. After the grape harvest, they produce raisins and grape molasses.


The villagers produce hundreds of tons of grapes from the vineyards on steep slopes, with various varieties every year. They sell more than 250 tons of grape molasses. Additionally, the grapes grown in the village are dried and sold in bulk.
