An entrepreneur in Konya is offering the traditional wedding
rice menu of the city to his customers at his establishment with a view of a
historical bathhouse.
Surrounded by shops and with its facade facing the street
blocked by a wall, the historical bathhouse, which is not well-known due to its
surroundings, underwent restoration about 3 years ago.
By incorporating the historical bathhouse within it, the
restaurant constructed around it was designed with large windows on the
entrance and upper floors, allowing for a view of the bathhouse. Visitors to
the restaurant can see the preserved historical bathhouse through these windows
in the middle.
Visitors here can indulge in a menu consisting of
traditional wedding dishes, including meat and rice pilaf, Okra and Yayla soup,
as well as Semolina Halva and Zerde dessert, until they are fully satisfied.
Arif Erdeo, a migrant from Germany, mentioned that he and
his family visited Konya for a trip. He said, "We live in Germany, and we
are originally from Karaman. We came to this place based on recommendations. It
caught our interest. It has a historical bathhouse in its view, it's a
fantastic place. I haven't seen a restaurant like this before."
