In the sixth session of the summit, which focused on the effective use of artificial intelligence in smart cities, the real-world outcomes of digital technologies in municipal services were discussed.
Within this framework, Turgay Turhan, Head of the Information Technology Department at Meram Municipality, shared Meram’s digital transformation journey with participants through his presentation titled “AI-Based Road Damage Detection Project.”
Turgay Turhan also provided information on other digital initiatives launched in 2025, including call center analytics and above-ground waste container data analysis, highlighting Meram Municipality’s data-driven management approach.
