Meram Lavender Garden Set to Enhance Konya Tourism with its Fragrant Beauty

Meram Municipality Mayor Mustafa Kavuş conducted inspections at the lavender garden established in an area of 20,000 square meters in the Dere Neighborhood. Mayor Kavuş, who stated that they plan to open the garden for visits before the end of June, emphasized that the lavender garden, which will add beauty to Meram, will make a significant contribution to the social life and tourism of Konya and Meram.

 

 

Meram Municipality Mayor Mustafa Kavuş conducted inspections at the lavender garden constructed by the municipality in Dere Neighborhood. During his inspection, Mayor Mustafa Kavuş gathered information about the process and stated that they plan to open the garden, which was built on 20,000 square meters of land, for visits by the end of June.

 

 

 

Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, noting that the construction of the lavender garden, which will bring a unique visual beauty to Dere Neighborhood and captivate the neighborhood and its visitors with its fragrance, is nearing completion, shared the following views in his statement after the inspections: "Our lavender garden will be one of the most beautiful and attractive points along the historical, cultural, and touristic route starting from Meram Garden and ending at the final destination. When completed, it will become one of the focal points of attraction in Konya, welcoming numerous visitors from within and outside the city, and making a significant contribution to the social life and tourism of the district. The lavenders will offer magnificent visual displays and breathtaking scenery to the guests visiting this place."
