Selçuklu Flower Garden, one of Selçuklu’s most colorful attractions and home to hundreds of thousands of flowers, is ready to welcome visitors for the new season.
Developed by Selçuklu Municipality within Butterfly Valley Park, the garden has completed its preparations and will be open to the public from June 20. Featuring a renewed landscape design and refreshed layout, the garden has become one of Selçuklu’s most attractive destinations. This year, it will once again serve as a popular spot for visitors and photography enthusiasts, showcasing 385,000 flowers from 28 species and 84 varieties.
Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı said the garden is welcoming visitors with a renewed appearance for the summer season. He noted that extensive renovation work had been carried out by the Municipality’s Parks and Gardens Directorate to provide residents with an enjoyable environment where they can spend time surrounded by nature. Enriched with plants of various colors and species, the garden has been enhanced with decorative figures and landscape arrangements, creating an aesthetically appealing setting.
Pekyatırmacı also highlighted the addition of playgrounds for children and recreational spaces where families can spend quality time together. He emphasized that Selçuklu Municipality places great importance on creating areas where residents can relax, connect with nature, and create lasting memories within urban life. He expressed his belief that Selçuklu Flower Garden will continue to be a popular destination for both domestic and international visitors throughout the new season and invited residents and guests of the city to experience its beauty firsthand.
Selçuklu Flower Garden can be visited six days a week, except Mondays, between 09:00 a.m. and 08:00 p.m.
